Kansas City, MO – The Spray Booth Gallery is celebrating its grand opening, with a group show featuring the work of – Paul Anthony Smith, Christina Dostaler, David Rhoads, Russell Shoemaker, Matt Jacobs, and Amanda Elise Bowles. The gallery will open its doors on First Friday, February 4, 2011, from 6-10 and will run through February 26, 2011.

The Spray-Booth Gallery (SBG) is offering a space for art in any medium, and encourages risky, interactive, or collaborative exhibitions. SBG is new to the Crossroads Art District and is interested in showcasing the work of emerging artists.

SBG has shows booked through August 2011, but is taking proposals for shows after that time.  The artists of 6ix, are alumni of the Kansas City Art Institute, and consequently have shared a dialogue in both concept and material. This show will feature paintings, small sculpture, and installation
